PLACE 47 Georgetown
Hi, Today we explored the historic town of Georgetown Colorado which is in the mountains west of Denver before the Eisenhower tunnel and the elevation is 8530 ft. The views from town are beautiful. The lake in the picture is Georgetown Lake.
The history of this town includes that it was given the name" Silver Queen of Colorado" because it produced loads of silver at one time. The down town section of town has historic buildings from 1870s.
For two weekends every December they transform the downtown into a holiday scene from the past. We think that a visit here in December will be something to look forward to seeing.
LAZY CAMPING: Egg Beaters can be frozen for 3 months. We like to freeze the small cartons to take camping and use them when unthawed. This help keep the ice chest cold longer also.
Have a great day and night,
