PLACE 23 Mancos State Park

Hi,  We discovered Mancos State Park. It is in southwest Colorado and is a year round state park. Our campsite was in beautiful ponderosa pines. Our site was # 021 in the main campground.

The reservoir that the park is on is Jackson Gulch Reservoir.

Morning walk was on the Mule Deer trail which is on the north side of the reservoir. It was too snowy and muddy to do the whole length.

Mancos State Park is only 12 miles from Mesa Verde National Park, 20 miles from the Anasazi Heritage center and 27 miles from Durango.

This location was perfect for our day trips.

LAZY CAMPING:  Heat can hash on a skillet and add sliced peeled hard boiled  eggs after hash is crisp. Salt and Pepper the eggs.

Have a good day and night,
💕50 + Lazy Campers
