PLACE 24 Mancos

Hi, Of all the towns that we explored this week, Manco Colorado was our favorite.  Mancos is surrounded by rangeland and mountains. The town was founded in 1894 near a site where early Spanish explores first crossed the Mancos River.

There were a couple of outdoor gathering places that look like they would be fun to spend some time on the patios.

There was a coffee shop named Fahrenheit Coffee Roasters that also had outdoor seating.

The town has more than 10 art galleries. They have various music entertainment.

We had lunch at the one of the town parks named Boyle Park. Unfortunately I did not get a picture. Some of the picnic tables are right by a creek that runs through town.

LAZY CAMPING: Heat a can of chili and serve it in a single serving size bag of flavored corn chips for each person.

Have a good day and night,
💕 50+ Lazy Campers
