PLACE 33 Sylvan Lake State Park
Hi, Sylvan Lake State Park is surrounded by the White River National Forest. Its a wooded and peaceful place. On Brush Creek Road its 8.5 miles to the visitor center and then another 5 miles on a dirt road to the cabin.
Here is picture of the cabin. The propane stove made it cozy and warm.
LAZY CAMPING: This is a variation of our white chili (soup), we leave off the broth and add more spice. For 4 people we use 2 large cans chicken undrained, 3 cans white beans undrained, 1 can green chilis, ground cumin, oregano, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste. This makes a nice thick stew that we eat with sour cream if we have any with us.
This looks like fun! How many people will the cabin sleep?
ReplyDeleteThis cabin sleeps 4 but there is a larger one also.
