PLACE 45 RMANWR- Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuse

Hi,   We visited the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge (RMANWR). This is a National Wildlife Refuge located near Commerce City Colorado. It is more than 15,000 acres. It was constructed in 2004 to protect our national symbol, the bald eagle.

This is a good place to see buffalo, deer & birds. It is a good place to hike on the 20 miles of easy hikes. There is an 11 mile wildlife drive with a refuge podcast that can be listened to while doing the drive.

There is a bird and butterfly garden which was a good place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee from the gift shop.

If in the Denver area this is a nice place to spend part of  a day!

LAZY CAMPING:  A soup like this is good for a really simple one pot meal.

Have a good day and night,
