OVERNIGHT # 18 LAZY J RANCH MOTEL / SEQUOIA NATIONAL PARK

Hi, Today we explored some of the Sequoia National Park.  If you are going in the winter  be sure to check the website : nps.gov

The terrain includes huge mountains, rugged foothills, deep canyons and vast caverns and the worlds largest trees.

We were not able to go all the way to the General Sherman Tree because we did not have snow chains with us. What we saw was beautiful.

The park address is 47050 Generals Highway Three Rivers Ca. 93271.
The vehicle pass is  $35.00. The pass is good for 1-7 days and includes everyone traveling in a single vehicle for Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park, and Hume Lake District of Sequoia National Forest/Giant Sequoia National Monument.
There are many options for camping, lodging and restaurants in the parks.
Some of the activities are ranger programs, day hikes, wilderness trips, winter activities.
In summer, shuttles operate within Sequoia National Park and can bring you to the park from nearby towns.  Shuttles also run during some winter holidays.
The parks are open 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Winter storms may close some roads into the park until they are plowed.

LAZY CAMPING / ROOM MEAL:  Make a dip in the microwave of 8 oz. Velveeta, 1 can of refried beans and 8 oz. 505 Southwestern Green Chile Salsa. We had this with chips.

Have a good Day and Night,
💕 50 Plus Lazy Campers
